Dr. Harden was born and raised in Wichita, KS. He was fortunate to serve in the U.S. Army as a physician for ten years to include two tours of duty at Fort Riley, KS as well as deployments to Soto Cano Air Base as flight surgeon and Iraq as the battalion surgeon for the 1-13th Armor Battalion, 1st Armored Division. In 2003, Dr. Harden transitioned to civilian life, settling in Manhattan with his wife and three boys.

Dr. Harden enjoys all aspects of dermatology and the opportunity it provides to see a wide variety of people, young and old. He especially enjoys clinical dermatology and the challenges it can present.

Dr. Marchell is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon.  She has performed over 12,000 Mohs procedures in her career.   She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.  Dr. Marchell's research is published in several peer-reviewed medical journals, including the journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, Aesthetic Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, Journal of Clinical Investigation, and Lasers in Surgery in Medicine.  She contributed to a chapter in the book "Cosmetic Surgery:  An Interdisciplinary Approach".  Dr. Marchell is an invited national and international guest lecturer for physician groups.  

Dr. Marchell was born in Honolulu, HI, and currently lives in Manhattan with her husband and daughter; her daughter attends Kansas State University and the College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has family roots in Kansas with grandparents originating from Topeka, and her father being born and raised in Wichita.

Erin Thornton grew up in a rural community outside of Topeka. After graduating from K-State, she completed her PA training at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where she was fortunate to have the opportunity to train in a world-class academic medical center. She gained tremendous experience in a metropolitan city, but always knew she would return to Kansas to start her career and family. She lives with her husband and four children in Wamego, KS.

Erin solidified her training by beginning her career in family practice and emergency medicine, but has specialized in dermatology since 2006.  She has gained Diplomat status with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants by completing the Distance Learning Initiative for Advanced Dermatology Training.  Erin was a specialty contributer to the K-State online course entitled "Biogerontology", which was offered through the College of Human Ecology.

Casey Jankord grew up in Columbia, Missouri.  She came to Manhattan to attend Kansas State University and receive her bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition.   She completed her PA training at Wichita State University.

Casey worked for Manhattan Dermatology prior to attending Physician Assistant school.  She gained tremendous knowledge in dermatology during this time, and knew she wanted to specialize in Dermatology as a Physician Assistant.  Casey also has experience as a provider in emergency medicine.

She lives in Manhattan with her husband and two labs.  They enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling to the Lake of the Ozarks.
